Pout

Did you ever feel like pouting? Well my little grand-daughter did. I bought Brooke this cute little sweater the other day and wanted to take her picture wearing it. She was not in the mood for pictures and would not look at me no mater how I begged and begged. Robby and Brooke both run when they see me pull out the camera these days. I sure hope they will grow out of it and learn to "Strike A Pose" for grand-ma.
Stay warm my friends, and thanks for looking today.
God Bless

Robby's First Day of Pre-school

Hi folks, I wanted to share a "Robby Life Moment" with you today. Today Robby got up at 7:00 a.m., and his Mama got him ready for his 1st day of Pre-school. He was so excited to go to school with all the other boys and girls. He was also very proud of his new book-bag. Yes Robby is starting school late in the year, but he will be fine and is now READY to go. His first day went well. He got a name tag, pencil box for his crayons and markers, and his own seat! He loved meeting the boys and girls and playing with the toys he found there. He told me about looking at his name "Robby" wrote out on paper, he learned about snow, snowmen, and weather. He also went to chapel time to hear a bible story. It sounded like a good day and he was thrilled. After I picked him up from school, I took him and Brooke to the mall for an ice-cream treat. Yum Yum. I am posting some pictures I took of Robby this morning as he was getting ready to leave for school. He is no longer a Baby. I will miss that phase of his life, but am looking forward to seeing him grow into a wonderful young man.
P.S. This post is being uploaded late. The site was having trouble uploading pictures. Robby's 1st day was January 6th.

HAPPY NEW YEAR -- COLLARDS !!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone, I hope you had a great New Year's Day. I was with my family so mine was wonderful. Remember in my last post I told you all that I would be posting pics of my Beloved Grand-children and other interesting stuff until Spring, when I start doing portrait sessions again. Well, today I was e-mailing to a friend and told her about cooking some collards that my Mother-in-law had given to me for the New Year. My Sweet Friend Kim said she loved collards, but did not know how to cook them. A very old, country cook at a local produce market told me how to cook them a few years back. So I decided to take pictures today as I cooked my COLLARDS, and sent them to my friend. This post is to count as my "something interesting" post. HA HA HA. If you don't like collards, SORRY. They are GOOOOOOD eating. Enjoy this crazy post. Have a great day.
God Bless,
love,
Lynn
